First time here today. Super fast service and lots of food. If you leave hungry, it is your fault! Had a Benny Omelette - eggs Benedict in omelette form - delicious twist on a classic. Was so amazed at the size of the portions and how yummy it looked, I forgot to take a picture. Highly recommend and definitely will be back again 😃

Breakfast only. Traditional American Diner breakfast menu. Huge portions. Excellent service and quality. Plenty of room. Usually busy.

Consistantly good food with large portions. Staff is friendly, all around good place for breakfast.

I rarely give 5 stars as there is always room for improvement. However Thread City Diner never fails to impress. Their food is amazing and you get enough for your meal and snack for later. Thank you for another fantastic meal!

I stopped here this past Sunday, and had an great Special breakfast (Jalapeno Cornbread Waffle and Fried Chicken) The staff was attentive, and the place was PACKED! Get here early, as they fill up quick. We didnt wait that long at all, 5 Stars all around

Portion sizes that make me wish i could have had more room

If you want to go to breakfast here on Saturday morning you should stop eating Wednesday afternoon. The portions are huge. Food is tasty and for how much you get you can't beat the price. My only knock against them is the boiled potatoes instead of crunchy home fries.

Very comfortable place, easy service, good food. My only negative is that they used to have the world's best potatoes; now they have very good potatoes.

If you're wanting to loose weight or watch your figure don't come here. The food is delicious and in large portions plus everyone is friendly and quick. Definitely my favorite breakfast joint.

The waitress sat down while taking our order. The table was dirty and the fork I got had some food stuck to it. The waitress forgot to bring me my drink. The bacon I ordered was ridiculously salty and my home fries were undercooked. The waitress was walking around on her phone nearly the whole time we were there and it was very unprofessional. It wasn't busy when my boyfriend and I went there so there is no excuse. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had going out to eat.

so normally it's my favorite place to go for a great affordable breakfast. however today... we were served with watery eggs... watered down orange juice and MOLDY toast... n then when new toast was brought back to us it had enough butter on it to butter a whole loaf... I am so glad my daughter saw the mold before biting into the toast. so very disappointed today... check ur food so u dont get sick!

Always a mound of food plated for you. Hot and fresh every time. Waitstaff always friendly and frequent with the coffee refills. A must visit!

Well I went in there about 10 they had no chocolate milk no grapefruit juice in the food was cold when it got to my plate

A local favorite week known for Andy banging on the grill when he's cooking and huge portions. Great bang for the buck. Share a plate or take leftovers home. One of the Pride of Willimantic restaurants. As long as this place is open, I'll be back over and over again.

Good food and portion size, down to earth atmosphere only down side was when we sat down to eat we had to ask for our table to be wiped down, but overall not bad, I would definitely return. Another side not is that if you order bacon you get a lot but it can be a bit greasy.

The staff was very friendly. The food delicious and the portions huge. Loved the atmosphere, very relaxed. You could watch the cooks make the food. It was my first time there and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back.

New owner, clean and quiet. Very friendly atmosphere, great, attentive wait staff. Food was generous and came out fast and hot from the cooks.

This was one of our go to places, but after our last visit we are hesistant to try again. The homefries were undercooked, scrambled eggs were runny, kielbasa (which was forgotten so we had to ask for it again) was cold as well as the sausages. Juice that was suppose to come with meal never arrived. There also seemed to be confusion when it came to the french toast (which got forgotten too until we asked for it even though it was part of big willi meal), as we ordered rye bread for regular toast but instead our french toast was made on rye...an unpleasent surprise.Update: they never got back to me.

Thread City Diner has really went to the next level! When you walk in you feel the sense of brightness! I I love the environment and the portions are humongous! I want to say personally I see a change and a job well done!!

Great breakfast! Very efficient service and good choices. We are from out of town but I will def be back when we visit again. The omlets are HUGE! and I've truly never had better homefries. Keep up the great work guys!!

The food is consistently very good here. The portions are enormous and the prices are extremely reasonable. Are fun and delicious - today's included bourbon peach waffles and chorizo hash. The coffee is fresh and strong. The service is great the staff are very friendly and attentive.

My son and I walked in at 11:50. They close at noon. No issues. They were quick and was good food. They were very pleasant and I've never seen bigger pancakes than this place!

Breakfast was just ok... Toast was good. Hash in omelet was undercooked, so blah. Hash brown potatoes also undercooked but had a decent flavor. Portion was huge for the money. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Huge portions, great service and relaxing atmosphere. The quiche is excellent. The omelettes are sometimes undercooked because they are so big.

Biscuits and Gravy was a winner... Piles of bacon... Love this place

You'll get more food than you bargained for, so be prepared! Comfort food is done right, also options for lighter fare like yogert and fruit. They used to have real maple syrup for, but not recently, so bring your own if you need it for pancakes or waffles! Different specials offered daily.
